Andrea Plowden

Andrea Plowden aka “Lady A” is an American radio personality, Wife and Mother. She is best known as the co-host of the Mo-Bigga Radio Show based out of Jacksonville, Florida. Andrea enjoys compelling conversation around the word of God and is committed to her platform of spreading the Love of Jesus through every outlet available. 


Andrea was born January 8th in Buffalo, New York to parents Robert and Barbara James. Her father played in the National Football League for the Buffalo Bills. After retirement, her family moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee where Andrea completed her secondary schooling. While in high school, Andrea participated as a varsity cheerleader, in student government and Track and Field.


A graduate of Auburn University, Andrea attended school on a track and field scholarship. As a collegiate athlete she served as Team Captain and was a 2 time All-American. She also represented the USA in the Pan-American Games and was a Gold Medalist in the World University Games. She became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Gamma Xi Chapter while attending college.

Andrea accepted the Lord into her life in December of 1995 becoming a member of Ray of Hope Christian Church, under the leadership of Dr. Cynthia L. Hale in Decatur, Georgia. She is currently a member of International Bibleway Church in Jacksonville, Florida, Bishop Jimmie L. Plowden. Andrea has also been shepherd by Michael T. Smith, Pastor Don Johnson and her father Pastor Robert D. James Sr. 


Andrea is married to Jimmy Plowden and is the mother to Skyla, Vernon Campbell, Jimy, Jonathon and Joshua. She loves spending quality time with her family, serving those in need and experiencing new adventures.
