Teresa G. Powell is a recording artist, songwriter, musician and music producer who ministers in music workshops, seminars, conferences and various events worldwide.  She is also the author of two books, “Preparing an Atmosphere for True Worship” and “Make Worship Count”.
Born into a musical family, Teresa began playing the piano at the age of 4.  Early on she began singing with family at various local church events and oftentimes, before her father’s sermons. By the age of 11 Teresa was directing youth choir groups and traveling with “Greater Love”, a small music group formed by her elder sister, Bev.  During her High School years, Teresa traveled with this group across the east coast, singing at various functions and church events.
With an opportunity to travel, live and study abroad in Europe, for several years she directed the Vogelweh Gospel Choir, one of the most prominent choirs in the Kaiserslautern area.  This choir successfully ministered outside of its normal surroundings, forging a very cordial relationship with the European community.

In 2002, Teresa moved to Dallas, TX where she became a staff member of The Potter’s House of Dallas. There she worked to support various operations of the ministry and helped organize and facilitate specific aspects of the various annual conferences hosted by TD Jakes, which include Manpower, Woman Thou Art Loosed, and MegaFest. As a member of The Potter’s House, Teresa served in the music ministry as a member of the Grammy Award Winning Potter’s House Mass Choir and also with Josiah, the Potter’s House Praise Team.  This afforded her the opportunity to minister alongside some of gospel music’s most prestigious musical talents. To date she continues to write and produce music for herself as well as professional artists and businesses.

As a co-host of iGospel Music Radio, a co-founder of IGARA (The Independent Gospel Artist Radio Alliance) and The Radio Alliance Awards, Teresa has developed a rapport and worked with a great number of Indie Gospel artists. To even further utilize her knowledge and networking ability in the music industry she recently partnered with PG Network to "TIMA In Session", a television show geared towards artists development, which will begin airing in 2020 on PG Network and Sony's XOD network.

Teresa is ministry minded with a focus on using her music ministry, as well as her gifts and talents to glorify God. She currently resides in Jacksonville, FL and works with various outreach ministries to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.
