Zina Alston Fizer was born, raised and lives in Minneapolis, MN.
First graduating Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Communications she went on to receive a master’s degree in Advocacy and Political Leadership from Metropolitan State University in St Paul, MN.
Zina is a former democratic candidate for Minnesota Senate in Senate District 44. Extremely passionate about human rights, diversity and inclusion. Her mantra is “we all do better, when
we all do better”. Professionally, Zina is a private consultant, small business owner and has aspirations of becoming a legislator. Her goal is to change people’s lives through equitable
legislation and policy.
Zina has always desired to know the Lord but was “unchurched”. In June of 2000 under the leadership of Bishop Tom R Williams, Zina gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ and stated, “Best decision I’ve ever made; life has never been the same”. For over 20 years she has been a faithful member and leader at Mighty Fortress International Ministries. She serves as an altar worker, producer of the MFI weekly online services, intercessory prayer leader and evangelism team.
Her crown of glory is she’s the mother of three adult children, grandmother of four and great grandmother of one.
